UPC A10 Video Clip 3: Video group discusses Explanation #4
The video group discusses the two energy diagrams for Explanation #4. One diagram describes what happens to the water vapor particles when they come into contact with the glass and cool (but do not yet condense). The second describes what happens when the water vapor particles condense on the glass surface.
UPC A10 Video Clip 8: Group in class presents their response to Explanation #4
A group uses their whiteboard to present their energy diagrams and narrative description in response to Explanation #4. In the first case, they need to explain why water vapor cools down when in contact with a cold glass. In the second case, they need to explain why the water vapor condenses on the glass at a certain temperature (dew temperature). Their first diagram has an error in it, but it is not addressed in this clip.
