When watching the simulator, the group had previously interpreted the kinetic energy histogram in such a way that they concluded that, as the temperature of the gas increased, the kinetic energy decreased. However, they had struggled to make sense of that conclusion since it went against their intuitions. The instructor comes over and he helps them reinterpret the kinetic energy histogram so that the results are consistent with their intuitions.
