UWS L1 Video Clip 5: Class discusses answer to CQ 1-3
Students in class justify their answers to CQ 1-3. The first student chose B (longer wavelength) and used the wavelength equals wave speed/frequency formula to decide on her answer. The second student chose C (shorter wavelength) but she seems to be confusing frequency and wave speed. A third student refers to the statement at the top of the last page (where it says that "increasing the wave speed will increase the wavelength") to justify her answer. The fourth student uses the simulation to show that increasing the tension (and hence the speed) would increase the wavelength. A fifth student says that both the video and what was in the notes tell you the answer is B. Then the students vote again.
