UWS L3 Video Clip 1: Group 1 discusses CQ 2-1 and 2-2
Group 5 makes observations on the bottom of page WS-25 (moving binder back and forth in front of hanging sheet of paper) and describes what happens on the top of page WS-26. They decide that what is happening is like a longitudinal wave.
UWS L3 Video Clip 4: Group 5 discusses CQ 3-3
Group 5 discusses CQ 3-3. Emily explains to Renee that when the wave speed increases the wavelength increases (with frequency staying the same). Then both Emily and Ariana explain to Renee that when the wave speed remains the same while the frequency increases the wavelength decreases. They try to use their hand motions to support their reasoning. They choose B.
UWS L3 Video Clip 6: Class discusses SQ#2 (CQ 3-4)
[After the class votes on CQ 3-4 the instructor notes there is some disagreement. He calls on students to share their answers and their reasoning.] The first student has chosen A (you hear the two notes at the same time) and justifies his response. The second student chose B (high E note arrives first). The third and fourth students support A. [Students are asked to vote a second time.]
